Application:
For tear-free and noise-reduced jointing of workpiece cutting surfaces with and
against feed (jump cutting) particularly for sensitive decorative papers, foil coatings
and veneers.

Technical Information:
DP tipped cutterhead with alternate shear angle for tear-free jointing edges and cutting
surface. Increased shear angle for excellent edge quality on sensitive decorative papers,
foil coatings and veneers. Tool with knife arrangement S can be used left and right and
produces hollow cut for tightly fitting edgebanding. Low noise design with up to 5 dB(A)
noise reduction and highly efficient chip collection (<95°) by DFC. Significant weight
reduction by using an aluminium alloy tool body. Carrier body for multiple use with
exchangeable knives. 0.6 mm resharpening area

The Leitz WhisperCut EdgeExpert For Biesse, Homag, IMA is designed for tear-free and noise-reduced jointing of workpiece cutting surfaces. It is particularly suitable for sensitive decorative papers, foil coatings, and veneers.

This tool is compatible with edgebanders, copy shaping machines, double-end tenoners, and other similar machines.

It can be used with a variety of workpiece materials, including chip and fiber boards (such as MDF), raw and veneered surfaces, plastic and paper coated surfaces, and reinforced plastics (GFRP, CFRP, etc.).

The EdgeExpert features a DP tipped cutterhead with an alternate shear angle, ensuring tear-free jointing edges and cutting surfaces. It also has an increased shear angle for excellent edge quality on sensitive decorative papers, foil coatings, and veneers.

This tool is designed with a knife arrangement S, which can be used on both the left and right sides, and produces a hollow cut for tightly fitting edgebanding.

The EdgeExpert is designed with a low noise design, providing up to 5 dB(A) noise reduction. It also has a highly efficient chip collection system (<95°) by DFC.

Additionally, this tool is lightweight due to its aluminum alloy tool body. The carrier body is designed for multiple uses and has exchangeable knives. It also has a 0.6 mm resharpening area.
