The Leitz 042273 Spiral roughing/finishing router cutter Marathon is a versatile tool designed for sizing and grooving in roughing/finishing quality. It is compatible with stationary routers with or without CNC control, machining centres, and milling machines with spindles to mount shank tools.

This router cutter is suitable for various workpiece materials including softwood and hardwood, laminated wood for window construction, chipboard and fibre working materials (MDF, HDF etc.), uncoated and laminated veneer lumber (plywood, multiplex plywood etc.), plastomers, solid surface material (Corian, Varicor etc.), and PVC window profiles.
