The special limitor shape (up to D 250 mm) provides protection for the teeth when used in wood with loose knots and cracked wood. For larger diameters (D 300 mm and above), the tool is designed with larger gullet areas to facilitate better chip ejection. The special coating on the tool body enhances cutting performance and reduces resinification.
